Regulatory and government bodies
Where you have provided written authorisation, we will disclose relevant information to the ATO, ASIC, and other regulatory authorities as required to perform our services (for example, lodging your BAS or updating your ASIC company details).
Professional bodies
As a registered practitioner with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) and member of the ICB, we are subject to periodic audit and review processes. Relevant professional information may be disclosed to these bodies in the course of such processes.
Service providers
We use trusted third-party software and service providers to deliver our services, including Xero and other accounting platforms. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and obligations. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information appropriately.
Legal requirements
We may disclose your information where required to do so by law, a court order, or a lawful request from a government authority.
Overseas disclosure
We do not knowingly disclose personal information to overseas recipients unless you have consented to this, or it is required or authorised by law. Some of the third-party software platforms we use may store data on servers outside Australia — where this occurs, we rely on those providers' privacy commitments.
